What´s new?

13.12.2011 Winner-Show in Helsinki: Vinski BM-2 and Mimmi BB-4. Sulo was shown with excellent, no placement.

9.12.2011 The last two puppies have found homes. Hope to see Hemmo and Heppu in the showring very soon!

30.10.2011 All the three puppies of Impi´s litter are now placed to their new homes. 3 out of 5 of Ilta´s pups have also moved, two boys are still at home waiting for the right owners. Hemmo will stay in a co-ownership, he seems to be a very promising showdog.

27.10.2011 Vinski received a delightful letter from Belgium: C.I.B title.

4.10.2011 Mimmi passed the behaviour test in Heinola under judge Vesa Häkkinen. Now it´s officially in writing in her pedigree certificate: she is a smart girl!

12.8.2011 More white mini puppies in Vantaa - 2 girls and 1 boy. Sired by FI CH Executive After Disaster, dam Uskomattoman Ihana Impi. 

4.8.2011 White miniature puppies were born, 4 boys and 1 girl. The mother of the puppies is of my breeding, Uskomattoman Ihana Ilta, and the father is Tuisku (FI, RU CH, RKF Winner, Nevskaja Zhemchuzhina Champion).

18.6.2011 I became so happy in Kotka int. when the grand old man of Finnish kennel world, Rainer Vuorinen told me he liked Vinski very much and rewarded him with BOB and Cacib. He even adviced us to participate Cruft´s one day, so, who knows...

12.6.2011 Another try abroad resulted much better: both Mimmi and Vinski became BOBs with Cacibs in Riga, Latvia, and also received the Latvian Champion titles. Now Vinski has all the cacibs needed for C.I.B title, so now we just wait for the confirmation!

24.4.2011 After a long winter break with Finnish showsVinski was shown in Lappeenranta int. and became BOB with Cacib under Ivana Bakal.

30.3.2011 Our trip to Vilnus did not quite fulfill our exeptations: both of my standards had to be satisfied with second place and thus received nothing. Mimmi was awarded with resCacib, but without a chance to be confirmed - not every day is our day :)

15.12.2010 Vinski was shown in Helsinki, Helsinki Winner and Finnish Winner shows last weekend. In the first he ended up BM4, the other one he was excellent also but did not make it to the first four places. Some gorgeous dogs were shown in this huge show, so it was not a shame at all... My hungarian export Silver Joker Tarzan (silver dwarf) was shown in St.Petersburg by a friend of mine and he made it almost to the top - BIS2 in a poodle specialty show.

30.10.2010 Vinski was shown in Lahti, where he was BOS and received Cacib. This was his second cacib, since his reserve one from december last year has been confirmed. Now we only need to a couple more from abroad and that´ll be it...

15.10.2010 Another trip to Russia gave a Russian Champion title to Tuisku too, also he was entitled to RKF Champion title. That was very nice, since we plan to end Tuisku´s show career here and let him enjoy family life as a loved pet from now on.

14.9.2010 All of the puppies have found good homes. I am lucky to have contact with all of them - one of the boys and one of the girls are co-owned, one of the boys lives nearby and comes to me for grooming, and one of the girls stayed with his mom and my daughter in Turku.

In the end of August we had a nice trip to Russia, Vyborg, to show Mimmi, Vinski and Sulo. Mimmi and Vinski both finished their Russian Champion title and Sulo got 2xjunior cac, and he needs one more to become Russian Junior Champion. Last weekend Vinski was shown in national show in Porvoo, and he was BOB. Even happier I was for Nasta, who was found best bitch-2 and received res-cac.

20.8.2010 Lumi´s puppies were checked today and found healthy. They were microchipped and named - the litter name is Sininen and the boys Sävel and Sälli, the girls are Sointu and Sisko. Uskomattoman Sininen Sisko will stay with Hilda and her mother, Sointu is looking for a co-owner. The male puppies are still looking for a home.

11.7.2010 Vinski had a nice result in Karjaa today - BOB. But it was so warm in the showplace - must have been over 30 degrees and mercyless sunshine... This was his last summer show this year, let the holiday begin!!!

4.7.2010: Today Vinski was BOB in Forssa all breed show and received first CC after his second birthday. So now he is Finnish Champion as well.

27.6.2010: Lumi gave birth to 4 puppies: two boys, two girls. The father is the young silver star Olybinar´s Hero´s Crest. Puppies were born black, but they will be either silver or blue. Pictures coming later!

13.6.2010: We showed Uskomattoman Nopea Nasta, a 2,5 year old bitch in Vantaa group show. The judge was Michael Gadsby from GB. Nasta has been shown only once before but she behaved wonderfully and had a lot of style, too. She was BB2 and received her first CC.

22.5.2010: We had a wonderful day in Aptus Show in Helsinki. Three white miniature offsprings of Lumi were in the ring. Uskomattoman Ihana Impi was BB3, Uskomattoman Pieni Prinsessa was Very Good and Uskomattoman Ihana Ilta Good. There was only one white miniature apart from ours, all the other dogs were black or brown. They looked so wonderful, like shining stars in the black night!

30.5.2010: After a long winter break we have been starting the show business again. My white miniature male Tuisku was BOS and received his last CC in Lappeenranta 16.5.2010, thus became Finnish Champion. Vinski had CCs from Mynämäki and Lappeenranta´and was BOB in both shows.

13.1.2010: Vinski´s health test results are now official: HD A/A, elbows 0/0, knees 0/0 and eyes OK.  

10.1.2010: Ulpu (Uskomattoman Pieni Prinsessa) gave us such a pleasant suprise today: she was BOB puppy in Helsinki all breed puppy show. Congratulations, Elsa and Kati!

13.12.2009: Nordic Winner Show, Helsinki: Vinski was BestMale 3 and received a resCACIB. If this CACIB will be confirmed, as it should, it´ll became his first one. Not bad, considering that he came out of junior class a week ago.

13.10.2009: Greetings from Bratislava, the World Winner show - biggest dog show ever held on the planet! Vincentinus vom Strahlenden Sternchen, Vinski, was absolutely wonderful: he is now the best junior SAR standard poodle in the world! So, his result was Junior World Winner-09, Best Junior and CCJ. Thank you Marion and Kerstin, his breeders, and Kaisu Henttonen, for styling him for the show! Pictures on his page soon.

20.9.2009: Tuisku was BOS and received CC in Parainen group show. He is so nice to show in the ring, the wagging tail and light movement just make my day! Now he´s only one CAC away from the Champion title.

1.9.2009: Vinski received his second CC in Vantaa show under Italian expert Sonia Pagani. Now he moved better but still not as happily as I would like to see. Training (=crazy play and running with a toy) goes on... He does not need any CACs until next summer, but I will probably show him a few times during the winter just so that he does not forget how the show game works.

31.8.2009: I was wrong about the Ugly Duckling period, it seems not to be over. Vinski showed yesterday in Helsinki and he looked wonderful, but in the ring he moved like an elephant. He even seemed to have hurt his front foot, which was ok right before and after. I guess now we have some training to do...

25.8.2009: Vinski is now Baltic Junior Winner -09, his first title ever! The trip to Tallin went well, Vinski acted as an experienced traveller even though this was his first time in a foreign country. Vinski´s critiques were good too. Does this mean that his Ugly Duckling period is over?! New picture of him on his own page.

The reason to the blindness of the white miniature puppy was discovered: optic nerve dysplacia. The optic nerves are not developed as they should be, and the puppy is completely blind but the condition does not hurt or harm her otherwise. She has a good home now and is a happy and lively puppy, loving and loved by her family.

17.8.2009 In Vaasa group show all three dogs (Vinski, Sointu and Tuisku) got Good and very discouriging critiques. Everything was wrong with these dogs. Did the judge have a bad day?

4.7.2009 Bad luck continues: Vinski was found too big in the Tuusula show.  The judge had no mercy and gave him a grey stripe. Well, gray fits his silver color, anyway! Sointu had her first official show and did fine, result was Very Good.

16.5.2009  Lumi (Nevskaja Zhemchuzhina So Unbelievable) had 3 lovely female puppies.  The puppies are sired by Tuisku (Nevskaja Zhemchuzhina Champion). The mother and babies are fine.

3.5.2009 Tuisku and Vinski participated group show in Turenki. It was actually Tuisku that wanted the CC, but Vinski took it. I just couldn´t leave Vinski home because I know he´s a working guy and would have chewed some piece of my property during the long wait, so I had to take him along.  

14.3.2009 New picture of Vinski and his latest show result + critiques in English translation. 

7.2.2009 The Finnish Poodle club organized Poodle Speciality Show in Helsinki today.  I had both of the puppies shown as well as one of  Taika´s youngsters in the junior class. The judges didn´t like Sointu (dwarf) and Nasta so much, but Vinski got excellent critiques again. Anyway ,all the three dogs behaved themselves very nicely in the ring, and made me proud enough! 

19.1.2009 Vinski started his basic education, an elementary obedience course, with "Rakkaat Haukut" in Helsinki. He was a little suprised of the new environment but soon realized that the goodies in my pocket are more interesting than the other dog students.

11.12.2008 Kia went to ultra sound examination - no puppies. Quite a disappointment, but shit happens, doesn´t it ?!? 

 7.12.2008 Vinski had his first show at the age of 6 months and 3 days. He received HP and BOB, the critiques are translated to English on his own page (under "Standards")

2.12.2008 Mimmi´s SA result was clear and she also got the Estonian Championship confirmation from Tallin. We are eagerly waiting for Kia´s ultra sound next week  - let´s hope she´s pregnant.  She has been acting a little bit differently than normally, so our hopes are high! 

20.11.2008 Mimmi took an eye exam and SA-test today. The eye result she got immediately (OK)   and the SA result will come later.

 10.11.2008 Kia has been mated with Pepsi, Siida´s Black Mystic Boy.  We expect silver/blue puppies in the beginning of next year.

3.11.2008 PRA-prcd tests of miniatures Tuisku and Lumi returned normal/clear.

29.10.2008 A new member of our family has arrived from Germany. He is a silver male puppy named Vincentinus vom Strahlenden Sternchen, but we call him just Vinski.

25.10.2008 Mimmi received CC in Rakvere, Estonia, and now she is also an Estonian champion. The title, though, still needs to be confirmed by Estonian Kennel Club.
